The sad day has arrived when we had to say, see you later to Culburra, Callala and Currarong. We have been welcomed so graciously into these communities and we all felt at home, despite only being here for a week. It will be odd not to see the smiling faces that have greeted us throughout the week.
Once again, we all got a taste of ministry across three churches in three separate towns. However, this time Matt Morrison (3rd year) and Leonie Morrison (2nd year) started the Sunday morning at Currarong. Matt preached on the misconception that Jesus is Not Enough and Leonie shared how Christ has worked in her life through suffering.
Later on that morning, Sam Broadford (4th year) and Matt Goodman (1st year) headed to Culburra and Callala, with Sam preaching on Jesus is Tough Love and Matt gave his testimony on how Christ has worked graciously through his life.
At lunchtime we headed out for some fish and chips and in standard country style, the road was blocked due to cows crossing the road. Not something you see every day in the hustle and bustle of Sydney!
After dinner it was time to head home. We all left feeling blessed by the week that we shared alongside fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We were also encouraged to see how God is working through these communities and for the generosity and fellowship of the McPhail family. We pray that God will continue to bless these communities, that many more people will commit their life to Christ and we look forward to seeing everyone again in glory.
