The team had a chance this morning to walk around the local area, visiting the Miller shops and the Anglicare store. Some of the team had a chance to do some volunteer work at the Anglicare shopfront. We also hosted the Anglicare family support, social and wellness centre staff for an afternoon tea. One of the team members Amani shared an encouraging message to the Anglicare staff about the love of God which compels us to share the good news of the Gospel. We finished the day by receiving training in Bible story telling from a missionary couple who serve amongst Muslims in Somaliland.
