Bags are packed, toothbrushes won’t be forgotten, plane tickets are prepared, and flights checked into. We are leaving the clear blue skies and warm tropical breezes. Townsville, it’s time for us to go.
But what a week!
We got to partner with people here to preach Jesus to Townsville.
And preach him we did. At church, at school, at uni, and on the Strand. With dessert, over morning tea, and at a BBQ. Playing bowls, playing giant jenga, and playing frisbee. In the morning, in the day, and at night. To children, to youth, to students, to adults, to parents, to Townsville.
Thank God for the opportunities we’ve had to share the gospel. Though it has felt like a drop in the ocean, we trust that God uses weak vessels like us to save people. So we pray that God would indeed use our time in Townsville to see the gospel go out. So many more would become disciples of Jesus, even though we may only know of them in heaven.
Heavenly Father, use our words and efforts for your glory.
Townsville, it’s time for us to go.
But, what a week.
