On Saturday we had David Cook come over from Sydney to Darwin for the Preach the Word conference and he gave us lots of practical tips on preaching good sermons, how to prepare it and deliver God’s Word to the target congregation.
Local church leaders and other ministers from as far away as New Zealand came to Darwin to listen to Rev. Cook’s seminar.
Our team helped St Peters Nightcliff to organise the morning tea and lunch for fellow servants of Christ, and we even had fresh Barista coffee!
Rev. Cook has answered some of our team members’ questions and helped us preparing the sermons for next Sunday. May the Lord bless all of his servants in the conference, equiping all to be better preachers of his Word, so that Christ will be proclaimed to many in multitudes, and bringing glory to the Father in heaven.
