This morning we had the privilege to share fellowship with the congregation of The Church of the Good Shepherd at Fred’s Pass. The church is a beautiful, simple structure with no walls. Ironically, the building code still requires an electronic exit sign! It was a special service run by the staff and students of Nungalinya College.
It was wonderful to be together, to sing praises in different languages, to hear from some students and see them perform, to learn about prayer (with a Trinity Sunday theme) and to partake in the Lord’s Supper in Kriole. We didn’t necessarily understand every word but we definitely got the gist of it.
We were enthusiastically welcomed, as we have been everywhere we’ve visited this week. The Northern Territory is a very warm place, in more ways than one!
