… such were the wise words of Jono Ward as we discussed door knocking and walk-up strategies. Although not many of us chose to adopt his evangelism strategy, we had some amazing success stories and multiple opportunities to share testimonies, pray with people, read from the Bible, exchange mobile numbers, drink cups of tea and invite people to church. Praise God for the many great gospel opportunities and conversations with which he blessed us!
Other than evangelism, a group of us headed to Shire Christian School’s Year 8 Camp to hear Cameron speak and to join in some of the activities there, and another group went to Thursday Church with a group of older saints and interested churchgoers, at which Andrew preached from Mark 2 and Jacquie gave her testimony. The morning tea afterwards was also nothing short of amazing, and a great opportunity to chat with conjugation members.
After an afternoon of evangelism and preparation for the rest of the week, we were again hosted in homes for dinners, and then a few of us went to the youth leaders’ training night. About 40 people in total showed up to Bible Study Central (BSC), learning about text preparation using manuscript discovery.
Another great day of mission at Jannali!
