This morning our Chaplain Ed Loane taught us from Philippians 1 about ministry in partnership with our brothers and sisters in Darwin. Then Bishop Greg Anderson gave us an overview of the Anglican Diocese of Northern Territory. He told the team about the history, diversity of culture, opportunities and challenges faced by the diocese.
Then Rev Joshua Kuswadi, Rector of St Peters Nightcliff, told us about his ministry in Darwin. He led us in a briefing session, and we organised the team to go to various evangelistic and training events in the mission.
Please pray for the people who responded yesterday to evangelistic sermons and for follow up. Please give thanks for the growth and teaching opportunities, and pray for the unity and cohesion of the diocese. Pray also for the Slack family as they begin their ministry in Katherine this week.
