Kurrajong Team here again!
A special double dose of an update for you today.
Wednesday was another busy day for us. Jono and some of the team led another easter assembly at Kurrajong Public followed immediately with a lunch time group at Kuyper Christian school and a bible study led by 1st year Ross Collins.
While all this was happening the rest of the team led a special service at a local Anglican Retirement Village as 3rd year Michael Hanbury and Peter Orr joined a bible study who humbly refer to themselves as the over 50’s.
The day was capped off with a men’s dinner about how Jesus brings true mate-ship. A night where the Moore men shared various anecdotes of how they have connected (or tried to) with their friends about Jesus. The highest attended men’s event in Kurrajong!
Thursday was the team’s much earned day off which most of them spent back in Sydney with their families and friends.
Peter Prepares the Plebeians for Passionate Prayer Participation
Give thanks to God for the tremendous last pair of days we have had. The men’s event and the ARV services were both humongous encouragements as well as clear presentations of Christ’s gospel.
Please pray today for the team as they continue to door knock around the neighbourhood, for Jono Thomas as he leads a lunchtime group again, and for him and some of the team as they help lead the local youth group “Illuminate” tonight.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Kurrajong team Out!
